The successful candidate will have a track record of Pre-Sales Engineer experience in Contact Center / Speech Analytics / Call Center Software solutions. Position Overview

The Pre-Sales Systems Engineer (SE) is a technical field position that is the resource for your assigned Account Executive, you work as a TEAM! The Client prefers you live in Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Denver or Salt Lake, although they will consider any location for the right person!!

The Pre-Sales SE will have technical leadership responsibility and perform all of the functions of a Systems Engineer, including running Proof of Concepts. The SE will act as the Systems Engineering resource for your Account Executive in your sales territory.

The client prefers SE's with companies like: Avaya, Aspect, 8X8, Five9, Genesys, Nice Incontact etc. in their background! If you have worked for any of these companies or their competitors, we would like to speak w/ you!

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Account Executive to achieve the territory revenue and other financial metrics. Deep knowledge of Contact/Call Center Market required.
• Professionally introduce and represent the company to prospects, customers and partners.
• Maintain every customer as a reference account.
• Establish company’s brand as an emerging market leader within the region.
• Work with Prospects and Customers to design solutions based on company’s software platform.
• Present and demonstrate at a deep technical level the architecture, performance and functionality of the company Platform.
• Qualify sale opportunities based on the technical fit between a customer’s requirements and the standard capabilities of the company Platform.
• Your team will design and manage Proof of Concepts (POC) in conjunction with the company’s Professional Services Team.
• You will own the technical relationship with the customer and lead all technical efforts to ensure each customer is a reference account.
• You will develop and present technical proposals as required to win sales engagements.
• Provide regular and meaningful insights to Senior Management and Marketing on market trends, product requirements and competition.
• Be a good teammate. Support your peers in developing a culture that likes to win, have fun and values mutual success.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) or Equivalent experience. A concentration in Computer Science is a plus. Expert talking Contact/Call Center solutions w/ customers!
• Proven track record (5+ years) of Pre-Sales SE experience in this space.
• Demonstrate a track record of personally designing and demonstrating POC’s for large Enterprise accounts or Service Providers.
• 5-10 years of experience supporting a field sales organization selling and deploying Contact/Call Center market solutions.
• 5+ years of Pre-Sales Engineer experience, deep knowledge of Contact/Call Center Market required!
• Some Project Management or Customer Support experience is a plus.
• Ability to present and communicate with all levels of a customer organization (Technical, Financial & Executive).
• Comfortable using CRM and Strategic Selling Methodologies.
• A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, high growth, rapidly changing start-up environment.

Base Salary: $130,000.00 - $150,000.00 (DOE)

On-Target-Earnings: $175,000.00 - $250,000.00 + Bonus + 100% Employer-Paid Benefits + Full Expenses + Upward Mobility

Locations: Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Denver or Salt Lake (Preferred).

Travel: 50%
