Skilled Trades Recruiter / Staffing & Payroll Coordinator

Tower Eight Staffing Solutions is looking for an energetic, organized, and dependable professional to join our team in a key hybrid role supporting our skilled trades staffing operations.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoysrecruiting and working with people, but is also comfortable handling the administrative and payroll responsibilities that keep a busy staffing office running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Recruit, interview, screen, and onboard skilled trades and construction personnel
• Source candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, and other recruiting channels
• Match qualified employees with client job requirements and coordinate daily staffing needs
• Maintain regular communication with field employees regarding assignments, schedules, and availability
• Assist with new-hire paperwork, I-9s, employee records, and onboarding documentation
• Collect, review, and process employee timecards and payroll information
• Help resolve payroll, timekeeping, and employee-related questions
• Maintain accurate employee and assignment records in the staffing system
• Provide general administrative support to branch operations
• Work closely with sales, recruiting, payroll, and management to ensure clients and employees receive excellent service

What We’re Looking For

• Staffing, recruiting, construction, payroll, or administrative experience preferred
• Knowledge of skilled trades and construction staffing is a strong plus
• Strong communication and people skills
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
• Comfortable handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn staffing/payroll software
• Reliable, professional, and willing to jump in wherever needed
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
