Patient Care Coordinator (Medical Front Desk) – Tampa

MMJ Health is one of Florida's leading physician-led medical marijuana practices, serving patients across more than 20 clinic locations throughout the state.

We're looking for an energetic, organized, and patient-focused Patient Care Coordinator to join our Tampa team. Tampa serves as one of our primary operational hubs and training locations, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in healthcare.

You'll work closely with physicians, leadership, and patient support teams to ensure every patient receives an exceptional experience.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and check in patients
• Answer inbound patient calls
• Schedule evaluations, follow-ups, transfers, and telehealth visits
• Collect appointment payments and deposits
• Assist physicians with clinic workflows and patient charts
• Help patients complete OMMU applications when needed
• Keep physician schedules running efficiently
• Handle patient questions and objections professionally
• Maintain HIPAA compliance
• Perform additional administrative duties as assigned

After mastering Front Desk responsibilities, you'll have opportunities to cross-train into Business Development and additional operational roles.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience

• Reliable transportation
• High School Diploma or GED required

Healthcare experience is preferred but not required.
