POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Finance Park Manager leads the JA Finance Park experience by facilitating activities for students, volunteers, and educators. Upholds organizational quality standards. Manages daily program operations, focusing on training, support, and execution. Ensures adherence to program models while supporting expansion and capacity goals.
Maintains effective communication and coordination to ensure a high-quality, impactful learning experience.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Program Quality
- Manage the on-site simulation (students/volunteers) Monday - Friday.
- With support, ensure that all schools receive the proper communications about their visit. Maintain an accurate spreadsheet and calendar reflecting visit dates.
- Maintain open communication with all schools and educators to determine if they need assistance in delivering the curriculum or getting student permission slips, to meet the 14,000 student goal.
- Maintain communication with the Volunteer Coordinator on all volunteer needs.
- Facilitate onsite volunteer training daily and provide guidance throughout the simulation to the volunteers to help them coach students by applying their personal experiences within the simulation.
- Design and execute a best-in-class learning experience during student JA Finance Park visits, aligning simulations with curriculum learning objectives and creating authentic application opportunities.
- With staff support, ensure that the JA Career Center experience is updated and running properly.
- Manage onsite engagement of students by facilitating daily activities, coordinating daily simulation schedule, and other logistics to ensure completion of simulation.
- Deliver a consistent, high-quality, high-energy experience every day during the school year.
- Responsible for invoicing and collecting student fees from each school.
Program Sustainability
- Assist in the inventory tracking for all simulation resources (tablets, props, program materials, etc.).
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot common issues with simulation software and/or storefront technology.
- Collect required program forms and complete daily reports in a timely manner.
- Ensure that space is in a constant state of operational readiness through daily walk-throughs, observations, and inspections.
- Prep and reset to ensure that program resources and all essential materials for students and volunteers are prepared and ready prior to arrival.
- Utilize non-program days (i.e., summer) to innovate and elevate the current student programs, as well as strategize program growth.
Constituent Experience
- Deliver a best-in-class experience for every student, volunteer, educator, and guest that participates in the JA Finance Park program.
- Steward partner brands within the JA Finance Park program provide a strong return on investment.
- Embody organizational culture and reflect guiding principles to build strong working relationships with peers.
Safety & Security
- Be an expert in all onsite emergency and safety procedures.
- Take an active role in the onsite emergency procedures, including guiding constituents to safety during an emergency or drill.
- Always prioritize constituent safety.
QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Required
- 2+ years’ work experience
- Candidates of all degrees and academic certification levels will be considered
- Strong cross-functional team collaboration, communication, and presentation skills

Pay Range
$52,000–$55,000 annually (equivalent to approximately $25.00–$26.44 per hour), based on experience and qualifications. JA also offers a full benefits package.
