🚧 We’re Hiring: Commercial Construction Estimator

📍 Largo, Florida | Full-Time | On-Site

💰 $85,000–$100,000 + Performance Bonus

Crue Demolition & Construction is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Commercial Construction Estimator to help lead our next chapter.

We’re expanding from a successful restoration and remodeling operation into larger commercial projects—including tenant improvements, institutional renovations, and full-building gut rehabs valued up to $3 million.

This is not a junior estimating position. We need someone who can take full ownership of a commercial bid from invitation through final pricing, including:

• Reviewing plans and specifications
• Performing quantity takeoffs
• Soliciting and leveling subcontractor bids
• Building clear, complete scopes of work
• Analyzing costs, general conditions, contingency, and margins
• Preparing proposals that can hold up in the field
• Handing won projects off cleanly to production

You’ll work directly with the owner, a Florida Certified General Contractor, who reviews and signs every commercial proposal—but you’ll be trusted to build and defend your own numbers.

We’re a small, growing team with modern systems, AI-assisted workflows, and very little corporate red tape. The projects you price will have a direct impact on where this company goes next.

What we’re looking for

✅ 5+ years of commercial construction estimating experience with a general contractor

✅ Proven ability to manage bids independently

✅ Strong plan-reading, takeoff, CSI division, buyout, and bid-leveling skills

✅ A track record of projects delivered at or near their estimated margins

✅ Clear, professional scope letters, clarifications, and exclusions

✅ Ability to attend site visits throughout the Tampa Bay area

Experience with Buildertrend, Procore, PlanSwift, Bluebeam, Xactimate, institutional renovations, or the Tampa Bay subcontractor market is a plus.

Compensation and benefits

• $85,000–$100,000 base salary, depending on experience
• Performance bonus tied to gross-margin accuracy
