Risk Management Analyst

Nelnet is looking for a highly qualified and motivated Risk Management Analyst to join our team. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in risk management and will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

The Risk Management Analyst will be responsible for executing risk management strategies to ensure Nelnet’s assets are protected from operational risk exposure.To be successful in this role, you should have a solid understanding of risk management principles and a keen eye for detail.

The ideal candidate will also have superior analytical and problem solving skills and the ability to understand complex concepts and processes.We are looking for a team player who is motivated and enthusiastic about helping Nelnet reach its goals. You should be able to work independently and effectively communicate your findings to management.

Responsibilities

Develop risk management strategies and policies to protect Nelnet’s assets from operational risk exposure.

Analyze data and develop reports to identify and assess risk.

Monitor risk management activities to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.

Work with senior management to develop and document risk management objectives.

Conduct research and provide recommendations to reduce operational risk.

Develop training programs and materials to educate staff on risk management strategies.

Collaborate with teams to ensure risk management strategies are implemented effectively.

Monitor and report on key risk indicators.

Provide guidance and advice to management on risk management issues.

Keep up to date with industry trends and best practices in risk management.
