Bid Tender Project Engineer / Manager job at NES Fircroft. Orlando, FL. Title : Project Engineer

Location : Remote with 10% travel to do site walkdown/internal review

Duration: 6 month contract with potential for extension based on customer award

Start Date: Start of July 2024

Scope of work: 15 years’ experience leading EPC Replacement HV Substation Projects (preferably in Seismic/harsh environments)

230kV or 115kV. EPC, substation experience. Will be handling Brownfield/existing projects.

Project Engineer

• Develop overall technical solution to meet customer specification and requirements of HV substation tender
• Prepare detailed technical documentation and proposal as part of bid process
• Work closely with electrical/civil engineers, site manager, and team to ensure solution is practical, cost effective, and meets all technical requirements
• Evaluate and support selection technical equipment supplier and subcontractors
• Conduct thorough technical risk assessment to identify and address potential technical issues
