Job Title: Finance Business Systems Analyst (Finance BSA)

Location: Bay Area, CA (Hybrid)

Duration: Contract

We are seeking an experienced Finance Business Systems Analyst (Finance BSA) to partner with Finance and IT teams in delivering enterprise financial system solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong business analysis experience, deep accounting knowledge, and the ability to translate business requirements into functional solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
• Partner with Finance, Accounting, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve business processes and financial systems.
• Create BRDs, functional specifications, process flows, and user stories.
• Support system integration, testing (UAT), and production deployments.
• Collaborate with technical teams to deliver scalable Finance solutions.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and best practices.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as a Finance Business Systems Analyst or Finance Business Analyst.
• CPA is required.
• Strong understanding of Finance and Accounting processes.
• Strong understanding of revenue recognition for contracts and bundles.
• Experience gathering business requirements, process mapping, UAT, and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
