BBSI is partnering with a well-established mechanical service organization in the San Jose area to hire a Service Inside Sales Representative to support commercial HVAC and mechanical service operations.

The ideal candidate will play a key role supporting service agreements, repairs, project coordination, and customer communication while working closely with operations, field teams, and account managers.

Key Responsibilities

• Support existing commercial service accounts and help ensure overall customer satisfaction and retention
• Coordinate with Sales, Operations, and Field teams to support service agreements, repairs, and improvement projects
• Participate in job walks, building surveys, and customer site visits
• Assist with estimating, proposals, vendor coordination, submittals, and project documentation
• Support onboarding, billing coordination, and invoice follow-up efforts
• Participate in Work-In-Progress (WIP) review meetings and assist with active project tracking
• Maintain accurate CRM records and account activity updates
• Build strong relationships with customers, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams
• Stay current on industry trends, technologies, and code requirements

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in inside sales, project coordination, or service operations within HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, or related construction trades
• Strong understanding of commercial HVAC, plumbing, piping, refrigeration, or building systems
• Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with Microsoft Office, CRM systems, Bluebeam, and Smartsheet preferred
• Construction Management, Engineering, or related industry experience is a plus
