Personal Assistant (PA) Staff

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Personal Assistant (PA) Staff to support individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities with activities of daily living like bathing, dressing, meal preparation, and household tasks, errands, transportation, and community access, all while respecting individual choice and following agency/state guidelines, focusing on independence.

Duties

• Assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, restroom assistance, transfers, and medication reminders (as trained).
• Light cleaning, laundry, meal planning, and preparation.
• Grocery shopping, attending appointments, social outings, transportation (driving individual and/or using public transit).
• Assisting with ambulation, using equipment, monitoring health and behavior.
• Providing support in a way that empowers the individual, working with them, not just for them, respecting preferences.
• Maintaining records of services, individual progress, and following agency procedures.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must clear a state and federal background check (livescan fingerprinting).
• Must have valid CPR and First Aid certification.
• Must be legally allowed to work in the United States

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
