Founded and led by Chrystia Bowen, a Brazilian waxing and sugaring specialist with over 20 years of experience, we've built a reputation in the Richmond/Midlothian area for delivering a comfortable, sanitary, and genuinely fun experience. Our clients leave feeling like the best version of themselves, and we want our team to reflect that same energy.

The Role

We're looking for a warm, organized, and client-focused Front Desk Receptionist to be the first face our guests see. You'll be the heartbeat of the studio managing bookings, keeping things running smoothly, and making every client feel welcome the moment they walk through the door.

This role is available as part-time or full-time depending on your availability and the right fit.

What You'll Do

• Greet clients and create a welcoming, comfortable atmosphere from arrival to checkout
• Manage appointments via our booking platform (Vagaro)
• Answer phone calls, texts, and emails in a timely and professional manner
• Handle client check-ins, payments, and rebooking
• Assist with product sales and shop order fulfillment (we ship skincare!)
• Keep the front of house clean, stocked, and organized
• Support social media engagement and respond to DMs as needed
• Be a brand ambassador who genuinely believes in what we do

What We're Looking For

• Friendly, professional, and people-first personality — this is non-negotiable
• Strong communication skills (in-person, phone, and written)
• Organized and reliable with strong attention to detail
• Comfortable with booking/scheduling software (Vagaro experience is a plus!)
• Passion for wellness, beauty, or personal care industries preferred
• Ability to work flexible hours including some weekends
• Prior front desk, reception, or customer service experience preferred but not required

Schedule

We are looking for someone to be part time for closing shifts, one opening shift and alternating saturdays.

Our studio hours are

Monday & Saturday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Tuesday – Friday: 8:30 AM – 7:00 PM

Closing shifts end at 5:30 or 8:30. Evening and Saturday availability is required. Both part-time and full-time positions are available depending on the candidate.

Compensation

$15 – $20 per hour depending on experience
