Blossom Hill / Almaden Area, San Jose, CA Seeking a reliable, compassionate, and proactive person to assist our mother, who lives in an assisted living community. She is mentally sharp but has some memory and mobility challenges.
Responsibilities include coordinating and accompanying medical appointments, providing appointment summaries to family, helping manage her schedule, encouraging activities and outings, and serving as a trusted companion and advocate.
816 hours/week (8 guaranteed), flexible weekday schedule.
Pay: $35$50/hour depending on experience, plus mileage reimbursement (excluding commute).
Must live nearby, have a reliable vehicle that can transport a folded wheelchair, a clean driving record, excellent references, and be able to provide light mobility assistance.
