Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments following infection prevention management and aseptic techniques
• Assist dentists during a wide range of procedures
• Take dental x-rays ensuring adherence to dental sterilization procedures and radiation safety protocols
• Experience with Eaglesoft and ensuring accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Provide chairside assistance by managing dental instruments, taking vital signs, and supporting four-handed dentistry techniques for efficient treatment delivery
• Educate patients on oral health care practices and post-treatment instructions while maintaining clinical confidentiality policies
• Maintain dental equipment functionality and cleanliness

Requirements

• Proficiency in X-ray techniques, dental x-ray safety standards, and infection control protocols
• Ability to process dental instruments efficiently and maintain high standards of sterilization according to infection prevention management guidelines
• Excellent communication skills
