Warehouse & Logistics Supervisor

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Warehouse & Logistics Supervisor to lead our distribution operations with energy and precision. Duties

• Inbound freight, managing logistics, freight quotes, timing, receiving pallets and deliveries, checking for quality measures, accuracy and pricing. Product placement in the warehouse, labelling, rotation & vintage management
• Outbound freight, managing logistics, order picking, route design, truck loading, quality control and accuracy
• Oversee vehicle and equipment maintenance, cleanliness, safety and general organization of the facility
• As needed, drive company vehicles over designated routes to make deliveries or assist with exception, large or complex loads
• Maintain optimal inventory control on all items, document and report all variances. Conduct quarterly inventories or as needed.
• Forecast product needs based on depletions and create purchase orders (PO’s) for review. Communicate and send approved POs to supplier community and finalize logistics, report timing on inbound calendar
• Clerical responsibilities include finalizing customer orders, maintaining sample journals, communicating via email and assignments as directed by the leadership group.

Education & Experience

• 21+years of age
• Ability to lift, stack and move 40 lbs. on a regular basis
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Clean and current NV Driver’s License
• Two years of professional experience in alcohol or beverage fulfillment, a warehouse environment, delivery driver, logistics, customer sales/support person, hospitality or other comparable industry positions
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills – maintain excellent working relationships with vendors, leadership and co-workers
• Heavy machinery experience a plus, forklift, pallet lifters, electric and manual pallet jacks
• Must be comfortable and able to climb 10-step high ladders
• Computer literacy required, Microsoft 365 – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
• Inventory / ordering software, cycle counting & forecasting, QuickBooks experience an advantage
• Passion for and a working knowledge of wine, spirits and the service industry a definite plus

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
