Role Description The Human Resources Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Grandview, MO. This position is responsible for supporting day-to-day HR operations, including employee onboarding, record maintenance, and HR documentation. The role involves administering employee benefits, assisting with HR policy implementation, and responding to employee inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

The Human Resources Specialist will help coordinate personnel actions, support performance management processes, and contribute to employee engagement initiatives. The role also includes collaborating with managers on HR-related matters, ensuring compliance with employment laws and company standards, and supporting continuous improvement of HR practices.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of Human Resources (HR) principles and practices, including experience supporting general HR functions.
• Skills in HR Management and Personnel Management, with the ability to coordinate employee lifecycle activities and maintain accurate records.
• Understanding of HR Policies and their application, including experience helping implement and communicate policy updates.
• Experience working with Employee Benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, and responding to employee questions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain a high level of integrity.
• Proficiency with HRIS and standard office software (e.g., MS Office) and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Relevant education such as an associate or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
• Experience in relocation, logistics, or related industries is beneficial but not required.
