We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) / Nurse Practitioner (NP) for a full-time position within a Unified Government Public Health Department. This role sits within the Maternal and Child Health Division, with a primary focus on delivering comprehensive, client-centered reproductive health and Family Planning services.

Position Details

• Location: Kansas (Clinic Setting)
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Note: Must be available to work the late clinic shift every Wednesday from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM (or later as needed).
• Assignment: 13 Weeks

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive reproductive healthcare, including physical assessments, pelvic and breast exams, and routine gynecological care.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests and lab results within the clinic scope.
• Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans in accordance with Kansas state regulations.
• Deliver patient education, community health counseling, and pregnancy options counseling.
• Support the Limited Primary Clinic by performing sports physicals, work physicals, and addressing basic medical concerns.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams and contribute to the development of clinical protocols.

Minimum Qualifications (Strictly Required)

• Graduated from an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Active, unencumbered Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) / Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in the State of Kansas.
• Proven clinical experience in reproductive health, family planning, OB/GYN, or women's health.
• Current BLS certification.
• Strong clinical judgment, time management, and communication skills.
• Ability to work compassionately with highly diverse patient populations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior knowledge or experience working within Title X guidelines.
• Bilingual skills (Spanish / English) are a strong plus
