Salary: $20-$28/hr DOE

JR & Co. Inc. is seeking Junior Project Managers responsible for providing support to the Sector Manager, Project Manager(s), & Operations Team to ensure Projects and Operations run smoothly and all projects are successfully monitored and performed from start to finish.

The goal of this position is to provide assistance to project teams while training and developing future project managers and allowing entry-level project managers to take on smaller projects with supervision from Sr. level project managers.

Essential Functions

• General:
• Update and maintain project and operations trackers and forecasts weekly
• Assit with inventory transactions, invoice review, submittals, and project controls
• Attend and participate in weekly branch, operations, and project meetings
• Coordinate with Operations Manager to maintain spreadsheets, review timecards, assist with crew planning and perform site visits.
• Coordinate with Project Managers to ensure procurement of required permits, build job binders, fill out paperwork, track orders, submit online applications/submittals, generate purchase orders, and administer close out documentation.

To succeed in this role, you will need

• GED or HS Diploma
• 1-2 years of project coordination and controls (required) with experience in contract administration (preferred)
• OSHA 10 certification (or ability to obtain)
• Roofing experience preferred
• Valid driver's license
• Computer proficient - Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, The Edge, Bluebeam, and Pipedrive (or similar CRM)
• Aptitude for continuous improvement in company processes and project management
• Creative problem solving skills
• Superior oral and written communication skills as well as excellent interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated time-management and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail

Work Environment/Physical Requirements

• Indoor office environment with routine field site visits (Outdoors)
• Use of hands for work at computer, taking notes, etc.
• Vision adequate for reading monitors, documents and fine print
• Prolonged sitting and working at a desk
• Ability to move freely (walking, bending, etc) to visit field sites
• Overtime and weekend work
