Role Description

The ENT Registrar role at HR HUB is a full-time, on-site position based in Kuwait City. The registrar will provide clinical care to patients with ear, nose, and throat conditions under the supervision of senior medical staff, including conducting assessments, taking medical histories, and performing examinations and basic procedures.

Daily responsibilities include documenting patient care, preparing treatment plans, ordering and reviewing investigations, and contributing to multidisciplinary case discussions. The role involves participating in ward rounds, outpatient clinics, and surgical lists as appropriate, while ensuring adherence to clinical guidelines, patient safety standards, and hospital policies.

The ENT Registrar is also expected to engage in continuous professional development, assist in teaching junior staff, and contribute to quality improvement activities within the department.

Qualifications

• Relevant medical degree (e.g., MBBS or equivalent) and completed internship, with registration or eligibility for registration with the appropriate medical council.
• Clinical experience in ENT or related specialties, including patient assessment, diagnostic evaluation, and participation in surgical or procedural care.
• Strong knowledge of ENT anatomy, common conditions, and evidence-based management guidelines, with commitment to ongoing learning.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate, timely medical records and communicate clearly with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficiency in clinical decision-making, prioritization of tasks, and working effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment.
• High standards of professionalism, ethical practice, and respect for diverse patients and colleagues.
• Willingness to work on-site in Kuwait City, comply with local regulations and licensing requirements, and adapt to new healthcare systems.
• Previous experience in teaching, mentoring, or participating in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives is an advantage.
