Kitchen & Bath Designer (Cabinetry & Closets)

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Designer to join our showroom team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing creative design with technical project management. You'll work directly with homeowners, builders, architects, and designers to transform functional needs into beautifully designed spaces.

You'll own projects from the initial consultation through final installation, guiding clients on design selections, creating detailed 3D renderings, managing timelines, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Meet with homeowners, builders, architects, and designers to develop customized kitchen, bath, and closet solutions.
• Create accurate floor plans and photorealistic 3D renderings using ProKitchen or similar software and Oculus VR.
• Generate showroom sales through cabinetry, countertops, fixtures, hardware, and accessories.
• Develop new business through follow-up, networking, referrals, and outreach.
• Manage projects from concept through installation, including measurements, ordering, scheduling, and communication.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate pricing, product availability, and project execution.
• Maintain organized documentation and stay current on industry trends.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in kitchen, bath, cabinetry, closet, interior design, or remodeling sales preferred.
• Experience with ProKitchen, 2020 Design, Chief Architect, SketchUp, or similar software preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and project management skills.
• Sales-oriented with confidence presenting designs and building client relationships.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• High school diploma/GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.

Compensation

Base Salary: $50,000–$65,000 annually.

Uncapped Commission: Typical annual commission earnings of $25,000–$45,000+, with no cap on earnings.

On-Target Earnings (OTE): $75,000–$110,000+ annually. Top performers can exceed these earnings.
