Performance Marketing Manager at CEL

Position Overview

You'll be responsible for planning, executing and optimising high-performing Paid Search and Paid Social campaigns across multiple digital platforms. Managing a substantial monthly advertising budget, you'll focus on generating high-quality leads while continually improving campaign performance, efficiency and return on investment.

Working closely with the wider marketing team, you'll use data-driven insights to identify opportunities for growth and help shape the firm's digital acquisition strategy.

About You

We're looking for someone who has

• At least 3 years' experience managing Paid Search and Paid Social campaigns
• Experience managing a six-figure monthly or multi-million-pound annual advertising budget
• Essential: B2C marketing experience
• Professional services marketing experience is advantageous
• Strong knowledge of Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager and other paid media platforms
• Experience using Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager and reporting tools
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify opportunities
• Experience managing campaign budgets, forecasting and reporting on performance
• A strong understanding of conversion rate optimisation and customer acquisition
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• A proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously
• A passion for continuous testing, learning and improving campaign performance

Key Responsibilities

You will

• Plan, manage and optimise Paid Search and Paid Social campaigns across multiple platforms
• Manage significant digital advertising budgets to maximise lead generation and return on investment
• Monitor campaign performance, making data-led optimisation decisions to improve results
• Conduct keyword research, audience targeting and competitor analysis
• Develop and implement testing strategies across creative, landing pages and audience segments
• Analyse campaign performance and produce regular reports with actionable insights
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to align campaigns with business objectives
• Collaborate with the wider marketing team to improve customer acquisition strategies
• Monitor industry trends, platform updates and emerging opportunities
• Ensure campaigns comply with advertising policies and relevant regulatory requirements
• Achieve agreed performance KPIs including lead volume, cost per acquisition and return on ad spend
• Line management of a marketing assistant
