Associate Product Manager

Experteer Overview

In this role you will shape and deliver product increments for HMRC’s digital services. You’ll work closely with product, IT service, and delivery leads to define scope, priorities, and value for end users. You’ll balance organisational goals with user needs, guiding discovery through to live operation.

The role offers hybrid working and a clear path to impact across tax services through a multidisciplinary product team. This is a hands-on chance to influence product strategy and delivery in a public sector context.

• Set vision, strategy and scope for a small product or increment aligned to organisational goals
• Deliver product features for current products or services, leading discovery or development
• Engage and manage stakeholders, securing buy-in for the roadmap
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team including researchers, designers, business analysts and engineers

• Create and maintain the product roadmap and prioritise features by value
• Maintain the backlog of user stories and ensure regular refinement
• Provide PMO support and align with project governance
