Unity Game Developer

This isn't your usual Indeed job post: I'm an indie developer, and I'm looking for new people to join my team. I'm in the process of fundraising for the project, so you might be applying for "conditional employment", pending my project getting funded. Maybe you're interested in working on the project without pay until funding arrives, as I've been doing so far.

Though I don't expect many people to make that offer, it is a possibility.

I thought I'd wait until I have funding to make this job post, but I thought it'd be useful to have a team ready to go. Publishers are more interested in investing in a team than an individual.

With that out of the way, here's the job description:

The Unity developer will work on an Indie sci-fi turn-based strategy game.

The game is called: "Star Empires" (working title): It is a turn-based strategy game with real-time battles.

The plan for this studio is for it to be a worker's cooperative.

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop Unity Game features
• Develop tools
• Review Code

Secondary Responsibilities

• Attend Trade Shows
• Limited Testing/QA
• Assist in Project Planning/Documentation
• Wear "Many Hats": Assume a wide variety of non-development tasks in a small company: e.g: Social Media, Community Outreach, Marketing, etc..

Pay: $43,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
