Regional Operations Manager

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee and optimize daily operations across multiple Alberta facilities, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of approximately 20 employees, including office staff, dock crews, and yard personnel.
• Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) related to deliveries, dock productivity, driver utilization, and LTL cubing efficiency.
• Identify operational challenges and implement process improvements to reduce bottlenecks and enhance productivity.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by developing innovative solutions to streamline processes and expand operational capacity.
• Ensure facility readiness by overseeing basic maintenance coordination, equipment functionality, and infrastructure needs.
• Foster a positive team environment through open communication, effective conflict resolution, and a fair, accountable leadership approach.
• Support regional growth strategies, including future expansion opportunities in Edmonton and Vancouver.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Currently working in a supervisory or assistant management role within a large LTL carrier or regional logistics organization, with the ambition and readiness to take on increased responsibility and scope.
• Strong knowledge of logistics and transportation operations, including dock productivity, city delivery efficiency, and warehouse staffing requirements.
• Results-driven leader with a proactive mindset, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to effectively motivate and manage teams.
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities, a commitment to continuous improvement, and a desire to drive operational excellence.
• Willingness to travel regularly throughout Alberta and occasionally to Vancouver as required.
