Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day office operations, including scheduling, correspondence, and document management
• Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero
• Handle accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections
• Perform bank reconciliations, account analysis, and account reconciliation tasks to ensure financial accuracy
• Assist with payroll processing and related reporting requirements
• Support project coordination by tracking deadlines, preparing reports, and liaising with team members and clients
• Prepare budgets, monitor expenses, and assist in financial planning activities
• Maintain organized records of invoices, receipts, contracts, and other essential documents

Requirements

• Proven experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage or Xero is essential
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles including accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliation
• Familiarity with payroll processing and related compliance requirements
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills for account analysis and budgeting
• Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing
• Previous experience in office administration or project coordination is preferred
• Knowledge of accounting processes related to account reconciliation and financial reporting is highly desirable

Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
