Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of traditional tandoori dishes with precision and flair, ensuring authentic flavors and presentation.
• Supervise food preparation processes, maintaining high standards of quality, cleanliness, and food safety throughout the kitchen.
• Manage food handling procedures in compliance with health regulations, including proper storage, sanitation, and ingredient management.
• Lead and mentor kitchen staff, fostering teamwork and efficient workflow during busy service hours.
• Oversee food service operations related to tandoori dishes, ensuring timely delivery to guests while maintaining excellent customer satisfaction.
• Assist in menu planning and ingredient sourcing to keep offerings fresh, innovative, and aligned with culinary trends.
• Maintain a clean, organized kitchen environment by adhering to safety protocols and hygiene standards at all times.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or food industry setting, specifically with tandoori or similar grilling techniques.
• Supervising experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of food handling practices, food safety regulations, and sanitation standards.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively under pressure.
• Excellent understanding of restaurant management principles and hospitality operations.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Passion for culinary excellence with a focus on authentic Indian cuisine or similar cuisines involving tandoori cooking.
