Senior Project Manager, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Implementation

We're looking for a senior project manager to lead a Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementation for our client, a Calgary-based company, working alongside the implementation vendor delivering the project. This is a hybrid role that requires on-site work in Calgary some of the time.

This is a contract role starting in August 2026 and running through late January 2027, with an extension likely if go-live moves into the new year. Expect roughly 20 hours per week, though the load will move up or down with vendor activity.

The work covers D365 Customer Engagement (CE) and Finance and Operations (F&O) across two entities. You'll manage the implementation phases, a centralized scheduling build, the remaining pieces of a shop-floor interface for time capture, and light support to the client's internal architect on a Concur expense implementation.

Responsibilities

• 10+ years Project Management experience
• Manage project budgets and schedules across both entities
• Run internal steering committee meetings and project team status updates
• Approve team timesheets
• Coordinate and help schedule workshops where needed
• Manage the implementation vendor to keep delivery on time and on budget, including maintaining the RAID log with their PM and reviewing their status reports and sponsor update decks

Must haves

• Hands-on experience delivering D365 implementations, ideally across both F&O and CE
• A track record managing ERP implementations end to end, with real implementation experience.
• Comfort operating at a senior level with a CFO, an internal steering committee, and a delivery vendor
• Based in Calgary and able to be on-site when the project calls for it

• PMP certification
