About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Account Manager to join our team. This position will be responsible for managing and growing our Federal Government Customers within Canada.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the Canadian Federal Government & Departments, their infrastructures, as well as the unique challenges and needs we face with them. Federal Government Account Managers will work with technical pre-sales resources to develop customer proposals and are responsible for meeting an annual sales quota.

Annual salary range: $250K - $350K CAD OTE

What you’ll be doing

• Partners with business leaders to deliver services that support company objectives and that are consistent with our Winning Together values.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the Federal Government, Departments & Partners.
• Be completely informed before customer meetings, as well as timely follow up meetings with customers and managers.
• Create and implement strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and drive growth within the assigned account.
• Lead large RFP’s & strategic sales pursuits across the Federal Government & Departments.
• Stay informed about market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies relevant to Federal Government Customers.
• Identify customer needs and propose tailored IT solutions that address those needs, leveraging Computacenter's full portfolio of services and products.
• Work closely with Sales Managers, Vendors, and Internal Resources to ensure open communication and delivery of the contracted solutions to our customers.
• Act as the primary point of contact for Federal Government Customers ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and engagement.
• Understand and abide by all security and operational policies.

What you have

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of sales experience, in IT and Federal Government environments.
• Good knowledge and understanding of Federal Procurement Models & processes.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada and must be able to obtain and maintain the required security clearance.
• Strong written and verbal interpersonal skills.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
• Good knowledge of technology and the industry channel dynamics.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, interpersonal skills with the ability to present in a group setting.
• Strong understanding of Various size Federal Government environments/structure, procurement processes, and requirements/needs.
• Ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
• Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
