Responsibilities

Provide expert-level support for mission-critical applications operating in virtualized and containerized environments

Analyze and resolve highly complex incidents and problems impacting multiple systems or environments

Lead root cause analysis activities and implement enterprise-level corrective solutions

Provide recommendations to improve application stability, scalability, and performance

Lead complex installation and configuration activities across development, testing, staging, and production environments

Design and implement automated deployment frameworks using CI/CD tools

Coordinate major releases and enterprise deployments, including rollback strategies

Design and administer Kubernetes clusters and container platforms in enterprise environments

Implement high availability, failover, disaster recovery, auto-scaling, and resilience solutions

Promote Infrastructure-as-Code methodologies and lead automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency

Develop technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, standard operating procedures, and runbooks

Provide daily systems administration support, monitor systems, patch servers, maintain management tools, and troubleshoot issues

Qualifications

10+ years of experience performing System Administrator duties in enterprise environments supporting multiple network classifications

Experience supporting enterprise environments of 500+ users or equivalent large-scale operational environments

Experience supporting at least 2 network classifications ranging from Unclassified to Top Secret

5+ years of experience administering enterprise Windows and Linux environments, including installation, configuration, support, backup and recovery, disaster recovery, and performance tuning

5+ years of experience administering virtualized and cloud-hosted environments using technologies such as VMware, OpenStack, Azure, and AWS

3+ years of experience administering Kubernetes environments, including cluster administration, configuration management, monitoring, troubleshooting, and application deployment

5+ years of experience implementing or supporting CI/CD processes using tools such as Azure DevOps, ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, and Bitbucket Pipelines

Degree, diploma, or equivalent IT-related experience with 10+ years as an enterprise System Administrator; or 12+ years without a related degree or diploma
