Sales & Events Manager

Job Summary

Par & Pour is seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Sales & Events Manager to lead the growth of our corporate, social, and private event business. This role is responsible for generating new business, developing strong client relationships, and ensuring every event delivers an exceptional guest experience.

As the Sales & Events Manager, you will actively promote our meeting spaces, banquet facilities, golf simulators, and restaurant to corporate clients, community organizations, sports teams, and private groups. You will oversee the sales process from initial inquiry through event execution while working closely with the operations and culinary teams to deliver memorable experiences.

Success in this role will be measured by your ability to achieve sales targets, build lasting client relationships, and grow repeat business.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate new business through prospecting, networking, cold calling, referrals, and community outreach.
• Drive revenue through corporate meetings, private events, banquets, golf tournaments, team-building events, holiday parties, and social celebrations.
• Respond promptly to event inquiries and conduct venue tours for prospective clients.
• Prepare customized proposals, contracts, event packages, and pricing.
• Negotiate contracts while maintaining company pricing and profitability objectives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners, community organizations, and local businesses.
• Collaborate with the culinary, operations, and management teams to ensure flawless event execution.
• Coordinate event details including room setup, catering requirements, audiovisual needs, timelines, and guest expectations.
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, client database, and booking calendar.
• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets while identifying new revenue opportunities.
• Represent Par & Pour at networking events, trade shows, and community functions to promote the venue.
• Work with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns, seasonal packages, and event initiatives.
• Conduct post-event follow-up with clients to gather feedback and encourage repeat business.
• Prepare weekly sales reports, forecasts, and activity updates for management.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 3 years of experience in hospitality, hotel, restaurant, golf club, catering, or venue sales.
• Proven ability to generate new business and consistently achieve sales goals.
• Strong relationship-building, networking, and negotiation skills.
• Exceptional customer service and communication abilities.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
• Experience preparing proposals, contracts, and event quotations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with CRM or event management software is an asset.
• Flexible schedule with availability for occasional evenings and weekends based on business needs.

Pay: $45,000.00-$52,000.00 per year
