We’re looking for a hybrid Executive Assistant & Paralegal in the regulatory and governance sector. We anticipate our client will need an experienced professional who can provide high-level executive support while assisting with regulatory compliance, board governance, and legal administration.

The Executive Assistant & Paralegal will play a critical role supporting executive leadership, coordinating board activities, maintaining governance processes, and assisting with regulatory and legal documentation. This candidate must live in Calgary, Alberta.
Executive Assistant & Paralegal responsibilities: Provide executive-level administrative support to senior leadership and board members Coordinate board and committee meetings, including agenda preparation, meeting materials, minute-taking, and follow-up actions Maintain corporate records, governance documents, policies, and regulatory filings Assist with legal and regulatory documentation, correspondence, and reporting requirements Track governance deadlines and ensure compliance with applicable legislation, bylaws, and organizational policies Manage confidential information with a high degree of professionalism and discretion Liaise with internal stakeholders, legal counsel, regulators, and board members to support organizational objectives The successful candidate has: 5+ years of experience in an Executive Assistant, Corporate Paralegal, Governance Coordinator, or similar role Post-secondary education in Paralegal Studies, Legal Administration, Business Administration, or a related discipline Experience supporting boards of directors and board committees in a governance environment Knowledge of governance practices, regulatory compliance processes, and corporate records management Exceptional organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality in a fast-paced environment
The discussed salary range is $75,000 - $85,000 depending on experience Candidates with additional experience and higher compensation expectations may also be considered Comprehensive benefits package Hybrid work arrangement based in Calgary Paid vacation and personal wellness days Professional development and continuing education support Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
