Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Solicitor at Gibson Meardi Barristers & Solicitors, located in Edmonton, AB. The Solicitor will manage a range of legal matters depending upon your expertise including commercial real estate transactions, labor and employment law cases, family law cases, and conveyancing.

Key responsibilities include providing professional legal advice, drafting documents, negotiating agreements, and representing clients in various legal matters.

Qualifications

• Self starter with Expertise in Law prepared to deliver high-quality legal services
• Proficiency in Conveyancing and Commercial Real Estate transactions
• Knowledge of Labor and Employment Law
• Experience in Family Law and related legal proceedings
• Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and analytical skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction
• Licensing and good standing with the Law Society of Alberta
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
