Ability to learn new technologies quickly

Research industry trends and new capabilities for Azure Virtual Desktop.

Develops documentation for audit, standard operating procedures, change management, knowledge articles.

Evaluates risk and implements controls in order to satisfy the requirements of compliance documents such as, Statement of Sensitivity (SOS) and Security Threat Risk Assessment (STRA).

Provides technical support and analysis to various projects to ensure the implementation of a high-quality solution.

Contribute to develop the technical skills of the team through cross training, formal training, and stretch assignments, to ensure they align with the IT strategic direction of GoA.

Experience developing on cloud platforms and utilizing cloud services in development and in solutions.

Experience in defining technical architecture, building technical environments, supporting software development processes and initiatives, software configuration and database management.

Experience in gathering requirements from a diverse group of stakeholders across ministries or departments.

Experience in multiple architecture domains e.g. business, application, technology, data/information, security, and privacy.

Experience with process improvement, documentation and requirement gathering

Experience with triaging technical issues/problems and troubleshooting.

Experience with written and verbal communications including specific experience in drafting strategic business and technical documentation.

Experience collecting requirements, analyzing, designing or implementing M365 products and services, either on-premises or in a cloud infrastructure-as-a-service environment.

Experience collecting requirements, analyzing, designing or implementing Microsoft Power Platforms products and services, either on-premises or in a cloud infrastructure-as-a-service environment.

Experience in designing, building, testing, deploying, and supporting applications in an enterprise IT environment equivalent in size and complexity to the Government of Alberta.

Experience in designing architecture to support remote work and/or field-based workers.

Experience in developing new IT services including the development of service definitions, service measurements, cost models, processes, implementation and operational hand over.

Experience in IT infrastructure architecture and the relationships among the components that make up an IT service from end-user devices to servers, networks, storage, applications and data.

Experience in the design, development and implementation of complex IT solutions.

Experience with IT service management, IT service management applications, IT application development and maintenance projects.

Experience with User Acceptance Testing processes on large, complex, multi-stakeholder environment.

Experience working within an agile development environment.

Perform IT and/or business-related analysis, diagnosis, problem-solving, use case or scenario development, communication, presentations, planning, estimating, and documentation.
