• About this Opportunity
• We are seeking a Category Buyer to join our Procurement and Supply Chain Department in Singapore.
• In this role, you will manage contract and tendering processes, oversee vendor performance, and drive cost optimization initiatives while ensuring compliance with procurement strategies.
• You will play a key role in supporting operational efficiency and building strong supplier partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

• Find new cost reduction and optimization opportunities across the company through spend analysis, benchmarking, close engagement with stakeholders
• Negotiate new and renegotiate expiring contracts to ensure full compliance with our procurement strategies (cost reduction, simplification, improving stakeholder experience and etc).
• Ensure contract is communicated and used by all stakeholder in the company
• Ensure Vendor/Contractor fulfil our procurement requirements such as safety standards, modern slavery & responsible procurement.
• Ensure contract prices are updated into the system correctly and it is being used.
• Assist audit process related to vendor management and review.
• Ensure outstanding actions from audits are carried out in a timely manner by personnel.
• Assist other stakeholders in their tendering/business development with purchasing/commercial advice when required.
• Qualifications and Experience2 - 3 years’ experience working in a similar role coupled with relevant tertiary qualifications Relevant experience in a similar role
• Has training experience in Supply Chain or Procurement related
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, particularly MS Excel
• Demonstrable analytical capabilities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional planning and organisational skills.
• Understands the importance of good stakeholder and client relations (both internal and external).
• Able to communicate information and ideas clearly and articulately both in oral and written form.
