Cloud DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, managing, and automating our cloud-native infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and performance. You will work closely with software developers to streamline deployment pipelines and enhance our operational efficiency.

Job Responsibilities

• Cloud Infrastructure Management: Build and maintain scalable, secure infrastructure on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• CI/CD Pipeline Automation: Design and implement automated CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless application deployment.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Use tools like Terraform or CloudFormation to automate infrastructure provisioning.
• Containerization & Orchestration: Package applications using Docker and manage deployments with Kubernetes.
• System Monitoring: Implement monitoring and logging tools to track system performance and uptime.
• Security & Compliance: Implement security best practices, including automated compliance checks and IAM policy management.
• Troubleshooting: Perform root cause analysis for production errors and resolve infrastructure issues.

Required Work Experience

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), or similar role.

Required Qualifications

• Cloud Certification (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field (or equivalent experience)

• Cloud Proficiency: Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS preferred).
• Scripting: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

• IaC Knowledge: Strong experience with Terraform, Ansible, or Chef.
