About the Role

At BJAK, we're looking for a Journalist & Content Writer who can turn complex topics into stories people genuinely want to read.

You'll create original content across technology, AI, personal finance, insurance, and consumer trends while helping establish BJAK as a trusted voice across Southeast Asia. You'll interview internal experts, research emerging topics, write compelling articles, and develop editorial content that informs, educates, and engages millions of readers.

What You'll Do

Editorial & Journalism

• Research, investigate, and write original articles on AI, fintech, insurance, consumer technology, and related industries.
• Interview internal experts, partners, and industry leaders to develop insightful stories and thought leadership content.
• Produce accurate, well-researched, and engaging editorial content that builds credibility and trust.
• Fact-check information and ensure all published content meets high editorial standards.

Content Development

• Write articles, blogs, newsletters, website content, and educational resources across multiple platforms.
• Translate technical or regulatory topics into clear, engaging, and accessible content.
• Create content that balances storytelling, education, and SEO best practices.
• Maintain consistency across BJAK's editorial voice and writing standards.

Research & Insights

• Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and consumer behavior across Southeast Asia.
• Identify timely story opportunities that position BJAK at the forefront of AI and financial innovation.
• Use audience insights and performance data to continuously improve content quality and engagement.

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Partner with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Design, Legal, and Business teams to develop accurate and impactful content.
• Support product launches, research publications, reports, and educational campaigns with high-quality writing.

What You Bring

• 2–5 years of experience in journalism, editorial writing, content writing, or business reporting.
• Outstanding writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
• Strong research, interviewing, and fact-checking abilities.
• Experience writing about technology, AI, fintech, business, or consumer topics is highly preferred.
• Excellent command of English.
• A portfolio demonstrating long-form articles, editorial content, interviews, or published work.

Nice to Have

• Background in journalism, communications, media, or English.
• Experience working in digital media, technology, fintech, or startups.
• Familiarity with SEO content strategy and analytics.
• Experience producing multimedia content, newsletters, or podcasts.
