Primary Responsibilities

1. Operational Leadership

• Lead, coach, and develop the Accounts Payable team and allocate work, monitor workload, and ensure timely invoice processing and payment runs.
• Act as escalation point for complex AP issues, vendor disputes, and internal queries.
• Prepare cash outflow analysis to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure compliance to internal controls, approval matrices and accounting policies.
• Identify control gaps, drive remediation action and support audit requirement by responding to audit queries

2. Accounts Payable Processing

• Oversee end‑to‑end AP processes including invoice receipt, validation, posting, and payment.
• Ensure accurate processing of Advance payment, PO and non‑PO invoices in accordance with company policies.
• Review and approve invoices, payment proposals, and manual journal entries within approval limits.

3. End of Month Reporting

• Review AP ageing reports and ensure no invalid items.

4. Process improvement

• Drive continuous process improvements, standardization, and efficiency initiatives with cross collaboration across department to drive improvements.
• Support system enhancements, automation, and AP‑related projects
• Document AP procedures and ensure knowledge sharing within the team

Educational qualifications preferred

• Degree Type: Degree in Finance/ Accounting

Work Experience: Minimum 5 years account payables experience with at least 2-3 years senior or lead role

Required Skills

• Technical skills of Accounts Payable integrated systems and processes
• Experience working with multiple currencies
• People management experience

Others

• Fluent in English and Malay (spoken and written)
• Computer literate (Microsoft Office and database systems)
• Possess a valid driving license
• Physically fit and in good health

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
