Sales Manager/Business Development — HVAC, M&E & BMS

We are an established Southeast Asian company with over 50 years in the region, delivering integrated solutions across HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) Systems, and Building Management Systems (BMS). We handle design, supply, installation, and services under one roof and use advanced HVAC, M&E, and BMS technology to provide turnkey solutions for major projects.

Our past projects and target customers include high-rise residential and commercial towers, factories and production plants, shopping malls, hospitals, cinemas, stadiums, and industrial facilities that require advanced HVAC and BMS solutions. We work on chiller plant systems and other large-scale mechanical systems.

This role is responsible for driving sales of HVAC, M&E, and BMS system solutions in Malaysia. You will develop and execute sales strategies, manage client relationships, and ensure customer satisfaction while working closely with our technical and service teams to deliver solutions tailored to client needs.

What you'll be doing day to day

Developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve company targets and identifying new business opportunities in high-rise complex buildings, hotels, and industrial sectors.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their requirements, and proposing tailored solutions.
Managing the entire sales process from lead generation to deal closure, including preparing and delivering persuasive sales presentations and proposals.
Monitoring market trends and competitor activities to identify emerging opportunities and market needs.
Coordinating closely with technical, service, and project management teams to ensure seamless project execution, timely delivery, and quality service.
Maintaining accurate records of sales activities and client interactions, and preparing regular sales reports and forecasts for management review.

Experience and expectations

You must have a minimum 5 years of sales experience in HVAC (especially chiller plant) and M&E. A proven track record of achieving sales targets in high-rise building, hotel, or industrial sectors is required, along with a strong understanding of HVAC, BMS, and M&E system technologies.

This role reports to the Managing Director and is a mid to senior level position (minimum 5 years’ experience). It includes annual bonus and 5% profit share. The position is a hands-on, solo pioneer role for the Malaysian market and does not manage a team, but there is a clear progression path to Regional Sales Manager or Business Development Leadership roles.

Location and work arrangement

You will be based in our Kuala Lumpur office and will target customers across Klang Valley and Malaysia.
