Regional Manager

Introduction / Context

Monroe Consulting Group, an Executive Recruitment firm, is partnering with an organisation in the Industrial sector to hire a Regional Manager. This opportunity is based in Singapore and Malaysia.

Position Overview

Drive business growth across the mining, construction, and industrial sectors by expanding the adoption of advanced power and energy solutions across Singapore and Malaysia.

Play a pivotal role in strengthening market presence, developing strategic customer relationships, and contributing to the organisation's commercial success across the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Asia Business Development team in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Build long-term relationships with mining, construction and industrial clients.
• Manage and update the sales pipeline within the CRM system.
• Train distributors on the product and consultative selling approach.
• Understand customers' pain points and prepare proposals and quotations to address those needs.
• Gather market intelligence required for business development.

Key Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven experience in the power solutions market for mining, construction, and industrial applications.
• Experience in power systems, energy solutions, or equipment supporting mining operations.
• Demonstrated success in business development and sales activities.
• Experience managing distributor relationships and supporting channel development.
• Experience developing customer proposals and quotations.

Technical / Functional Expertise

• Strong knowledge of power systems and energy solutions.
• Understanding of equipment and technologies supporting mining operations.
• Experience managing and maintaining sales pipelines within CRM systems.
• Capability to provide product training and support consultative selling methodologies.
• Ability to gather, analyse, and utilise market intelligence to support business development initiatives.
