Regional Finance Manager

We are a growing multinational manufacturing group with operations across Asia, serving global customers through innovation, engineering excellence, and operational discipline. We are seeking an experienced Regional Finance Manager to join our regional finance leadership team.
Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), this is a high-impact role that combines technical accounting expertise, business partnering, financial leadership, and regional coordination. You will play a key role in strengthening financial governance, driving global finance initiatives, and supporting the Group's continued growth.
Key Responsibilities
1.Financial Reporting & Group Consolidation
- Lead the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Manage the timely preparation of consolidated financial statements for the Group.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, statutory regulations, and Group accounting policies.
- Review financial results, identify key business drivers, and provide insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
2.Business Partnering & CFO Support
- Act as a trusted finance partner to the CFO in managing regional finance matters.
- Support the CFO in liaising with internal stakeholders, external auditors, tax advisors, bankers, regulators, company secretaries, and other professional service providers on finance, tax, audit, and statutory matters.
- Prepare high-quality reports, financial presentations, and Board or management papers.
- Participate in strategic projects, business reviews, and corporate initiatives as assigned by the CFO.
3.Regional Finance Leadership
- Coordinate finance activities across multiple countries and legal entities to ensure consistent reporting, governance, and compliance.
- Champion and drive global finance initiatives, ensuring successful implementation and alignment with Headquarters' policies, reporting requirements, and best practices.
- Collaborate with regional finance teams to strengthen financial controls, standardize processes, and improve reporting quality.
- Lead finance transformation initiatives, including process automation, ERP enhancements, and continuous improvement projects.
4.Financial Planning & Governance
- Support the budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial planning processes.
- Strengthen internal controls, risk management practices, and financial governance across the Group.
- Monitor compliance with tax, statutory, and regulatory requirements in the respective jurisdictions.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and enhance financial performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. Professional qualifications (CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) will be an advantage.
- 8–12 years of progressive finance and accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge with hands-on experience in group consolidation and multi-entity financial reporting.
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is highly preferred.
- Regional exposure with multinational organizations and experience working across multiple countries.
- Strong financial analytical skills with the ability to translate financial information into meaningful business insights.
- Sound knowledge of taxation, statutory reporting, audit processes, and corporate governance.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders across different cultures and geographies.
- Fluent in English and Chinese (spoken and written) to communicate effectively with regional teams and review business and financial documents in both languages.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and experienced in ERP systems and finance technologies.
- Self-driven, hands-on, commercially minded, and comfortable operating in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
