Perform quality control on test results, ensuring validity and accuracy.
Perform calibration and troubleshooting on testing systems and instruments to ensure adherence to established standards of accuracy.
Microscopic examination of PAP smears, Non-gynae and FNA specimen.
Screen and report all normal cervical PAP smear.
Screen all non-gynae slides (body fluids and FNA) and submit to pathologist for reporting.
Prepare and process samples, such as Pap smear (cervical smear) or non-gynae specimens such as body fluids and fine needle aspirations (FNAs) when cytology technical assistant is absent.
Perform laboratory tests and report results as directed by the Core Lab Manager and pathologist.
Diploma/Degree in Medical Lab Technology or Biomedical Science
Have CT (IAC) qualification (area qualification: Cytology)
Experienced as Cytoscreener in Gynae and Non Gynae/ FNA
Able to work on rotational shift / on-call duties.
Min. 5 years as Cytoscreener
Min. 2 years as Medical Lab Scientist (experienced in Anatomical Pathology is advantageous)
