Senior IT Project Manager - 90K

Role Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior IT Project Manager to lead complex, business-critical technology initiatives within a top-tier global insurer. This role requires a sophisticated project leader who can manage the full project lifecycle — from business case development and mobilisation through execution, governance, change, and delivery.

The successful candidate will have a strong track record of driving the successful delivery of critical IT projects in large, complex organisations, with the ability to manage senior business and IT stakeholders, budgets, risks, and cross-functional delivery teams. Insurance experience is helpful but not essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex IT projects across the full project lifecycle
• Develop and shape business cases, project plans, governance, and delivery approach
• Manage senior business and IT stakeholders across multiple functions
• Oversee project budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting
• Proactively manage risks, issues, dependencies, and escalation
• Drive change management, business readiness, and successful implementation
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, vendors, and delivery partners
• Ensure delivery to agreed scope, timeline, budget, and quality standards
• Provide clear reporting and updates to sponsors and governance forums

Requirements

• 12+ years of project management experience in large, complex organisations
• Proven track record of successfully delivering critical IT projects
• Strong experience across:business case developmentstakeholder managementbudget managementrisk and issue managementchange managementdelivery management
• Strong ability to influence senior stakeholders across business and technology
• Excellent communication, governance, and leadership skills
• Experience in financial services or other regulated industries is an advantage
• Insurance industry experience is preferred, Cantonese is required
• PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or similar certification is a plus
