The Job

• Backlog Ownership & Sprint Prioritisation
• Own and maintain a well‑structured, prioritised backlog aligned with PM strategy and approved roadmap
• Break shaped features into detailed epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Keep the backlog refined and ensure sprint readiness
• Make day‑to‑day scope trade‑offs and prioritisation decisions to unblock delivery teams Detailed Requirements & Specification
• Define and maintain “Definition of Ready” and “Definition of Done.”Collaborate closely with Engineering, UX, Data, and Architecture to ensure feasibility and quality
• Serve as the primary owner of requirements documentation end‑to‑end — no BA handoff
• Ensure requirements are clearly defined, feasible, and aligned with engineering constraints to support successful and timely delivery Sprint Execution & Clarification
• Lead refinement and support sprint planning with Engineering and Scrum Masters
• Provide continuous clarification to developers and QA throughout the sprint
• Resolve ambiguity and remove blockers related to requirements or scope
• Accept sprint work and ensure delivered increments align with business intent Testing Support & Release Readiness
• Partner with QA to define test scenarios, edge cases, and coverage
• Validate functionality during QA, UAT, and pre‑production checks
• Ensure operational readiness and coordinate with Channels, Trading, CSII, Operations, and Customer teams
• Support PM and business teams on launch preparation and training materials Cross‑Functional Collaboration
• Collaborate with Trading, Compliance, Legal, Security, and Operations to ensure detailed requirements include all regulatory and operational constraints
• Manage communication across squads and ensure stakeholders understand scope and changes
• Coordinate with Engineering Managers on capacity, sequencing, and dependency management
• Manage vendor alignment and delivery collaboration (e.g. Amelco), ensuring requirements, timelines, and dependencies are clearly communicated and executed
• Facilitate effective BAU collaboration across AOP, BAU, and external vendors to ensure smooth delivery of initiatives requiring multi‑party coordination Post‑Launch Monitoring & Iteration
• Work with PM and Data teams to evaluate launch performance and customer behaviour
• Identify defects, edge‑case failures, or enhancement opportunities
• Feed iterative improvements into backlog for future sprints
• Monitor production issues and ensure clear, accurate defect reproduction steps Problem Solving/Solutioning
• Proactively analyse complex product or workflow issues and propose scalable, pragmatic solutions balancing business, technical, and operational considerations
• Facilitate solution design discussions with Engineering, Architecture, and QA to evaluate options, trade‑offs, and implementation approaches before development begins
• Translate ambiguous problems into clear solution hypotheses, decision frameworks, and recommended approaches to accelerate team alignment
• Drive root cause analysis for recurring or systemic issues, ensuring long‑term fixes are identified and incorporated into product or process improvements

About You

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or related disciplines
• Minimum 6 years in product management or UX design with a proven track record
• People management/ coaching experience will be a plus
• Experience managing product development projects and system requirements (backend and frontend)
• Solid experience in agile teams; certification as Product Owner or Scrum Master is a plus
• Experience in user acceptance test planning and execution is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of wagering products, customer behaviour, and market dynamics
• Proven experience in leading cross‑functional teams and managing product lifecycles
• Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello)
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance issues in the wagering industry
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment
