This is a permanent, office-based position.

Travel

• Regular client engagement within Gauteng (approximately 2–3 client meetings per day)
• Petrol card provided

Remuneration

Salary: R60,000 – R100,000 CTC per month (dependent on experience)

About the Opportunity

IT Company is seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to lead and grow our Gauteng sales division. This is a leadership role for a seasoned sales professional with a proven track record in Integrated Security Services (ISS), Structured Cabling and/or Data Centre Infrastructure sales, coupled with demonstrated success in managing and developing high-performing sales teams.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding strategic client relationships, mentoring Account Managers, and positioning the Company as a leading provider of ICT infrastructure solutions across the enterprise market. You will have the opportunity to shape the sales function, mentor a team of Account Managers, and play a key role in the company's long-term growth strategy.

You are an accomplished ICT infrastructure sales leader who understands how to sell complex technology solutions into enterprise environments. You have established relationships within the Gauteng market, a strong background in Integrated Security Services (ISS), Structured Cabling or Data Centre Infrastructure, and enjoy leading and developing successful sales teams.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Sales Leadership

• Lead, coach and develop a team of Account Managers to consistently achieve and exceed sales targets.
• Set clear sales objectives, monitor performance and implement strategies to maximise team success.
• Foster a high-performance sales culture focused on accountability, customer service and continuous improvement.

Business Development

• Identify and secure new business opportunities within the enterprise and corporate market.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with C-Level executives, decision-makers and strategic clients throughout Gauteng.
• Develop account strategies that drive long-term customer retention and revenue growth.
• Generate and manage a healthy sales pipeline through proactive prospecting and networking.

Solution Selling

Present and sell the Company’s infrastructure solutions, including

• Integrated Security Services (ISS)
• Structured Cabling
• Data Centre Infrastructure
• ICT Infrastructure Solutions
• Managed Services

Work closely with technical and engineering teams to develop customer-focused solutions that address business requirements.

Commercial Management

• Negotiate commercial agreements and close high-value opportunities.
• Ensure profitability while meeting customer expectations.
• Prepare accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reports.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities.

Collaboration

• Work closely with Operations, Engineering, Projects and Marketing teams to ensure successful solution delivery.

Represent the Company professionally at client meetings, networking events and industry engagements.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications

• Grade 12 (National Senior Certificate).
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Sales, Information Technology or Engineering (preferred).

Essential Experience

Candidates must have

• Minimum 7 years' sales experience within one or more of the following industries:
• Integrated Security Services (ISS)
• Structured Cabling
• Data Centre Infrastructure
• ICT Infrastructure Solutions
• Minimum 5 years' experience managing and leading a business development or sales team.
• Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding revenue targets.
• Proven experience selling complex, solution-based technology offerings into enterprise customers.
• Established network and relationships with senior decision-makers (C-Level and Executive Management) within the Gauteng market.
• Experience managing large enterprise accounts and strategic customer relationships.

Highly Advantageous

• Experience selling managed services.
• Knowledge of enterprise networking and ICT infrastructure.
• Experience responding to RFPs, tenders and enterprise procurement processes.

Package & Remuneration

R60,000.00 - R100,000.00 CTC per month, plus commission
