Senior Back-End Developer

You'll work in a hybrid mode from our Johannesburg office, collaborating across our Technology environment. As our Senior Back-End Developer, you'll play a pivotal role in transferring skills, ensuring cross-collaboration, and maintaining clean code aligned with our architecture.

Your day-to-day will include identifying and analyzing user requirements, developing Java EE applications, writing efficient code, and reviewing team members' work. You'll schedule product releases, document development phases, assist in incident resolution, and ensure our applications remain secure and up to date. This is a role where you'll lead by example and help shape our technical excellence.

We're looking for someone with 7+ years of Java development experience and strong expertise in Java SE 8, along with 2-3 years using MS SQL and 4+ years with JEE. Experience with Spring, Angular 2+, CSS, JavaScript, and Microsoft Azure would be advantageous.
