Intermediate Systems Administrator

Duties & Responsibilities

This is a full-time on-site role as a System Administrator located in Johannesburg.

The System Administrator will be responsible for day-to-day tasks such as:

• System administration
• Troubleshooting
• Technical support
• Network administration
• Information technology management.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Qualifications

• Matric Certification
• Tertiary qualification in IT / Computer Science
• 3+ years’ experience in desktop support
• Certifications in relevant IT fields such as Microsoft, VMWare, or CompTIA are a plus
• Own Vehicle and Valid Driver’s License

Required skills

• System Administration and Network Administration
• Troubleshooting and Technical Support abilities
• Experience in information technology support
• Strong understanding of network protocols, Microsoft Server operating systems, and virtualization platforms such as VMWare and Hyper-V
• Ability to work independently and in teams, with strong communication and problem-solving skills
