Content and Social Media Manager

• Salary: R45 000
• R55 000 CTC per month (depending on experience) Location: Johannesburg
• Hybrid (3 x per week in-office)

Overview

We're looking for a sharp, creative Content & Social Media Manager to take ownership of a fast-growing global tech brand's voice online. This role is perfect for someone who lives and breathes content, knows how to turn complex ideas into engaging storytelling, and understands how to build real conversations across social platforms.

You'll be responsible for shaping the brand's digital presence, creating standout content and driving engagement across channels like LinkedIn, Reddit, and YouTube. If you're equal parts strategist, writer, and creator, this is your chance to build something meaningful and make a brand impossible to ignore.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Own and manage the company's social media presence across key platforms * Plan and execute a content calendar that drives engagement and brand visibility * Create compelling written content including social posts, newsletters, articles, and community content * Partner with leadership to develop thought leadership and executive content * Manage and engage with online communities, particularly Reddit * Produce short-form video content for social platforms * Design on-brand visual content using tools like Canva * Monitor conversations, trends, and competitor activity to identify content opportunities * Maintain and update company profiles across review and listing platforms

Requirements

• Proven experience managing content and social media for a B2B brand (SaaS or tech preferred) * Strong copywriting skills across short and long-form content * Experience building executive thought leadership content * Comfortable creating simple video content for social platforms * Solid design sense with experience using tools like Canva * Hands-on understanding of Reddit and online community engagement * A proactive, creative mindset with the ability to spot trends and act quickly Please note: Due to the high volume of applications, only candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.
