We are recruiting Intermediate, Quantity Surveyors and Senior Quantity Surveyors on behalf of one of Ireland's leading construction contractors, delivering landmark residential, commercial, healthcare, civil engineering and mixed-use developments across Dublin and the wider Leinster region.

This is an exciting opportunity for experienced South African Quantity Surveyors who are looking to relocate to Ireland and build a long-term career with an established contractor known for delivering high-profile projects and investing in its people.

About the Role

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in the commercial management of construction projects from pre-construction through to final account, ensuring projects are delivered successfully while maintaining strong commercial performance.

Depending on your level of experience, responsibilities may include

• Managing the commercial aspects of construction projects from start to completion.
• Preparing cost plans, budgets and commercial reports.
• Procuring and managing subcontractor packages.
• Measuring, valuing and certifying subcontractor applications.
• Preparing and negotiating variations.
• Cost forecasting and financial reporting.
• Contract administration.
• Managing project risks and commercial opportunities.
• Negotiating and agreeing final accounts.
• Working closely with clients, consultants and project delivery teams.
• Mentoring junior commercial staff (Senior Quantity Surveyor level).

Experience Required

We are recruiting across multiple experience levels.

Intermediate Quantity Surveyor

• 3-5 years' Quantity Surveying experience.

Quantity Surveyor

• 5-8 years' Quantity Surveying experience.

Senior Quantity Surveyor

• 8+ years' Quantity Surveying experience.

Applicants should also have

• A Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
• Experience working within the construction industry.
• Strong commercial awareness.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines.

Experience within one or more of the following sectors is highly desirable:

• Residential Construction
• Commercial Construction
• Healthcare
• Civil Engineering
• Infrastructure
• Mixed-Use Developments

Eligibility
