📍 Location: Cape Town (Office-Based)

💼 Contract: Fixed-term (6 months)

💰 Salary: Market related depending on experience

Role Overview

A customer services environment is seeking a Dutch-speaking Customer Service Advisor to provide support across multiple communication channels. The role involves handling customer queries, resolving issues, and ensuring a consistent and high standard of service delivery in line with defined processes and service level agreements (SLAs).

Key Responsibilities

• Provide customer support via telephone, email, webchat, and social media
• Act as the first point of contact for customer queries and requests
• Investigate and resolve customer queries, aiming for first-contact resolution
• Manage queries related to orders, deliveries, returns, and exchanges
• Accurately capture and update customer information in relevant systems
• Keep customers informed of progress and outcomes
• Escalate complex or sensitive issues in line with defined procedures
• Follow established customer service processes and guidelines
• Identify process gaps and suggest improvements where applicable

Requirements

• Fluent in Dutch (spoken and written) – essential
• Strong English communication skills
• Ability to work full-time from the office in Cape Town
• Experience in a customer service or customer-facing role
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and manage workload in a fast-paced environment
• Problem-solving ability and attention to detail
• Comfortable working shifts, including weekends

Working Hours

• Rotational shifts aligned to Netherlands business hours
• Monday to Sunday: 07:00 – 22:00 (NL time)
