Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Facilities & Building Operations

• Oversee day-to-day facilities operations within a commercial office environment
• Manage building systems including HVAC, electrical, lifts, backup power, fire and access control
• Coordinate maintenance, repairs, preventative programmes, and service requests
• Manage soft services (cleaning and security) to ensure consistent service delivery
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements

Business Continuity & Risk

• Develop, maintain and test Facilities Business Continuity Plans
• Identify risks and implement mitigation and recovery strategies
• Ensure facilities infrastructure supports operational resilience

Vendor & Stakeholder Management

• Source, negotiate, and manage contractors and service providers
• Monitor performance against SLAs and contractual agreements

Space & Asset Management

• Coordinate floor plans and manage space planning, including office

reconfiguration to optimise utilisation

• Maintain asset registers and facilities documentation
• Ensure statutory records, certifications, and compliance documentation are up to date

Financial Management

• Monitor facilities costs and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Support budget management and expenditure control

Leadership

• Lead and manage facilities and support staff
• Drive service excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement
