Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

New Business Development and Prospecting

• Identify and approach new potential clients
• Conduct daily outbound prospecting through calls, emails, LinkedIn, networking, and referrals
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities
• Create new entry points into businesses and decision-makers
• Maintain consistent outreach and follow-up activity

Sales and Client Engagement

• Run discovery calls to understand client needs, challenges, and business goals
• Qualify opportunities based on fit, urgency, decision-making process, and commercial value
• Ask structured questions to uncover real client problems
• Build trust and credibility with business owners, managers, and decision-makers
• Provide a professional and consultative sales experience

Solution Presentation and Closing

• Match client needs with suitable technology and service solutions
• Guide prospects through the decision-making and proposal process
• Handle objections professionally and with value-based reasoning
• Close new business and secure recurring monthly revenue agreements

Pipeline and CRM Management

• Log all sales activity, notes, follow-ups, and next steps accurately in Zoho CRM
• Maintain clean and accurate pipeline stages
• Track deal progress from prospecting to closing
• Follow up consistently to ensure no opportunities are lost due to lack of action
• Provide clear visibility on pipeline, sales activity, and expected revenue

Relationship Building and Market Presence

• Build and maintain relationships with prospects, clients, and referral partners
• Attend networking opportunities where relevant
• Generate referrals and introductions where possible
• Represent the company professionally in all client interactions
• Contribute to company’s market presence and business growth

Desired Experience & Qualification

Minimum Requirements

• Previous experience in sales, business development, client acquisition, or a similar commercial role
• Experience in technology, IT services, telecoms, SaaS, managed services, or B2B sales would be advantageous
• Comfortable with outbound prospecting and cold outreach
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to run structured sales conversations and qualify opportunities
• Good follow-up discipline and attention to detail
• Ability to work with CRM systems; Zoho CRM experience would be advantageous

• Professional presentation and business communication skills
